Dinghy Sailing Lessons in Cornwall

Whether you want to learn to sail as a complete novice or further your sailing skills with an intermediate sailing course. As an RYA Training centre we offer courses from the National Sailing scheme for children and adults With our brand new fleet of modern boats as well as our more traditional craft we can take you from complete beginner to experienced sailor all with the idyllic surroundings of the south coast of Cornwall.

We can deliver short taster sessions and clinics through to full week long courses.

If you don’t fancy a course how about a Sailing Cruise? Sail away for the day in the capable hands of one of our RYA Instructors take in the idyllic scenery, perhaps see some local wildlife snd either find a beach and drop anchor for a picnic or visit a local waterside pub for lunch.

If you’ve just purchased a new boat getting to grips with it can seem daunting at first, our experienced instructors can guide you with our ‘Own-Boat Tuition’ service.

Beginners, Improvers, Refreshers and Taster Sailing Lessons

We offer beginners taster sessions and improver lessons for all ages and abilities. We have a range of boats enabling us to take you out individually, as a family or with a group of friends. Your qualified instructor can tailor the session to suit you. It might be your first time in a boat and you just want to see what all the fuss is about. Or you might be an old hand but fancied trying out asymmetric spinnakers or perfecting your roll gybe!

RYA National Sailing Scheme Courses

As an RYA recognised training centre we can deliver courses from the National Sailing Scheme. The scheme has been developed to get you on the water and sailing around as quickly as possible. Each level is complemented with just enough theoretical background knowledge to aid your progression.

Our courses are usually run over two days by our team of qualified RYA instructors, although they can be broken down into 4 half days or even evening sessions if you prefer.
